What to know before you call for service. Top
  • Year and Manufacturer of your home.
  • Which faucet are you having problems with?
Example: Lavatory, Tub and Shower, Kitchen.
  • Is your stem or cartridge plastic or brass?
  • Faucet finish?
Example: Chrome, Polished Brass, Satin, Bone.
  • Are the handles round knobs or lever style?
  • Problem you are experiencing.
  • Brand of faucet
    • How do I identify the brand?
Aerator - Handle Button - Stem
Two handle Phoenix Faucets are identified by the PHOENIX name on the aerator or the handle buttons.
Single handle faucets also have the PHOENIX name on the aerator or a distinct pattern on the handle button.
Some brands are easily identified because the faucet is clearly labeled on the handle button or other easily visible area. Examples of these are Moen and Sterling.

How do I know which stem is in my faucet? (See"Identifying Parts".) Top
For 2 handle faucets remove the handle and check for a brass or plasic stem. For single handle faucets check for a plastic or brass underbody.
Do I have renewable seats in my faucet, if so which one? Top
All 2 handle brass body faucets have renewable seats. For plastic body you would need to remove the stem from the faucet and look down inside the faucet shank to see if the seat has an allen wrench shape. Brass seats are removable with a 5/16” allen wrench, plastic seats are removable with a ¼” allen wrench.
Is my faucet under warranty? Top
Phoenix faucets carry a 5 year limited warranty against defects in material or workmanship, ordinary wear and tear excluded. Special finishes other than chrome are warranted for one year.
What does the warranty cover? Top
Manufacturer defects in material and/or workmanship, ordinary wear and tear excluded.
Who will fix my faucet? Top
Most repairs are simple and can be done by the homeowner. If you are still under your home manufacturer warranty the dealer may do the repairs.

Is my P1101 kitchen faucet missing the side spray? (See"Identifying Parts".) Top
No, the P1101 model is not designed to hook up a spray hose. The center shank is threaded for ½” locknut installation to provide additional mounting support. A hose and spray requires a ¼” diameter threaded shank.
